Koontz Family Cemetery

The Koontz family established a cemetery about five miles west of Bridgeport on the south side of Burnt River one-half mile from where the Bridgeport road intersects with State Hwy 7. This is the old mill and home site of the Koontz family who donated the land for the cemetery.

Located on south hill at junction of Highway 11 and the Bridgeport Road.

The burial plot contains 6 graves in all, all marked with marble headstones. Maintenance of the cemetery is by the Koontz family. Burial records are kept by the family group.
