He came west in 1898. He was granted citizenship papers in Baker 27 December 1905. He was married to Rosetta Fuller 25 September 1906 in Baker and has made his home here since that time. He was employed by the Oregon Lumber company and the Sumpter Valley railroad until he retired five years ago.
