Elizabeth Bellingham

Elizabeth (Brace) Bellingham, 42, passed away October 18th, 2008 after losing her battle with breast cancer. An informal celebration of life will be held in Bend, Sunday November 2nd, 2008, at 12 PM, at Aspen Hall in Shevlin Park.

Liz was born in Newport, OR on April 6th 1966 to Ralph Brace and Barbara Jaamptghard. She was raised in Prineville where she graduated from Crook County High School in 1984, then moved to Portland where she lived for 20 years, before returning to Prineville in 2004

. After her return to central Oregon she began working for the company XL Management as the Accounts Receivable Manager. While working there she organized a "Cancer Sucks" team which participated in the Heaven Can Wait walk. She also organized the Chicks Against Cancer poker ride, displaying her love for horses and empathy for cancer patients and survivors.

She loved horseback riding and the outdoors. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and photography. Liz was an immensely positive person who was overflowing with a passion for life. Liz will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. We look forward to seeing her in heaven, greeting us with her kindness and warm heart. We all love and will miss Liz tremendously.

She is survived by her boyfriend Shawn Anastasio, daughter Savanna Smith, son-in-law Jason Smith, one grandchild Ransom Smith, stepsister Jane Schaefer and many friends and family.

Liz is preceded in death by her mother Barbara Jaamptghard and father Ralph Brace.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Redmond Humane Society.
