Kenneth George Halsey

Kenneth George Halsey of Redmond died of natural causes on Tues., Aug. 29 
2000. He was 63 years old

  Mr. Halsey was born Feb. 9 1937 in Union, to Harry and Hazel (Henley) 
Halsey. When he was 6 years old the family moved to Crook County where he 
graduated from High school. He married Janet Beeson in 1960 and the couple 
later moved to Redmond in 1986.
  
  Mr. Halsey worked at Wagner's Supermarket in Prineville and in Redmond. He 
was self employed and owned his own business, K&H and son Janitorial Service, 
which he operated untill recently.
  
  He was a member of the Jehovah's Witness faith. He enjoyed fishing and 
hunting.
  
  Survivors include his wife Janet of Redmond; son Phillip Halsey of 
Redmond; brothers, Steve and Jim Halsey of Prineville, Bill Halsey of 
LaGrande and Jack Halsey of Pendelton.
  
  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
  
  A memorial service will be held on Sat., Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom 
Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Redmond. Autumn Funerals is in charge of 
arrangements.
