I'm Jan Bony, the State Coordinator currently covering beautiful Gilliam County ORGenWeb. To reach me, please email jbony (at) ochoco.com

A little background: I live in Vancouver, Wa., but was born and raised in central Oregon. I began really getting into genealogy in about 1990, after the deaths of both my grandmothers. By 1996, I had married, and had a child, and with my husband, developed our own business doing computer repair, cable modem installs for the internet, and small business web pages. I started using the USGenWeb project almost from conception, mainly researching in Iowa, and by 2000 I was a volunteer for my home county. Since that time, I have expanded my volunteerism by adopting the State of Oregon GenWeb and quite a few of the counties. I still do my own genealogy research, but have much more fun finding data to put onto my county sites. Hope you enjoy your visit, and may the records be with you...
