More information:
I am going to do more research, but what i know off the top of my head is that my dad was born around 1923?  His middle name was Leslie.  I think this brothers names were Tom and Gene.  His sisters names were Mary and Darlene?.  I remember when i was small dad took me deer hunting at Steens Mountain.  We visited the round barn and I remember talk of the Blitzen River.  He had a family brand I think, because we looked it up in a book.  We also went to the musumn too. I think some of his cousins(friends) had the last names of HAYES.  (Woodruff).  I would like to talk to anyone that might have know him or have any info so I can get started researching more.  I guess he was in the army and married my mom(Virginia), who was from Michigan.  I don't know for sure it they lived in the Burns areas or not.  Thank you.

I am trying to verify that the Harry Barnes age 34 in the 1910 Census of Drevery OR was the uncle we are looking for. The family lost contact with him in or after 1910 and I assume he died. Is there a record of his death there. He was said to be single in the census  Any help would be welcomed.

SURNAME: JENNINGS
CONTACT:  Louise Jennings Valine
My Harney County Surname is Jennings.˙ John Henry Jennings and his wife Julia Dodge Jennings homesteaded on Soldier Creek in the late 1800's. My father Roy Booth Jennings was born in Burns. He went to school in Harney, I still have a picture of the Harney School. He went to school with a Houser, can't think of his first name, but he later became post master of Burns I believe. Rose and Tome Houser was his parents. My dad used to stay with them at the Houser Cabin. It is still out by Harney. My dads sisters were Rita Jennings Hibbard, and his other sister was Ruth Jennings Cowing. There are still relatives in Burns, my cousin Dorothy Cowing Starbuck still lives just out side of Burns. My dad and mom moved to Ca. in 1931.
