Flight School

Sheron has several old year books from a school named "Flights School"
in the Mt Angel area. Each text document below is a listing of faculty and
students for that year. Enjoy.

Flight School was named so because it had an airstrip right next door and
one of the classes available was flying. It was in the same building as the
present day Kennedy High School. The airstrip is no longer there,  not
sure what year they opened or closed. There is a reference 1951 being the
third yearbook. It is the earliest edition I see in this collection. This collection
can be found in the Kennedy High School Library.

The Fathers listed as administration can probably be researched at Mt Angel
Abbey. It is a Catholic Monastery located just outside Mt Angel in St Benedict
Oregon. If the person has OSB it stands for Order of Saint Benedict.Upon
entering the Monastery they take a new first name although their last name
remains the same.

Mt Angel College was established in 1887 and the Seminary in 1889.They were housed in the same building at Mt Angel Abbey located just outside of Mt Angel Oregon in St Benedict Oregon.
