Harn to Miss Julia Reed, both of Portland.
March 1st, at the residence of the bride's father by Rev. C. O. Hosford, Mr.
Samuel Dorsey, of Klamath county, California, & Miss Mary J. Wallace, of
Multnomah county, Oregon.
On the 24th of Feb, at the residence of Benjamin Koop, by Rev. Jesse
Moreland, Robert L. Morris to Miss Henrietta Wingfield, all of Clackamas
county, Oregon.
At the residence of the bride's father, in Linn county, on the 28th of Feb,
1859, by Rev. Luther White, Mr. Jacob Frazer of Sacramento, Cal. & Miss Mary
Kizer.
At Applegate, Jackson county, Feb 8th, by Justice Andrus, Mr. Daniel Briggs
to Adeline Henderson.
On the 10th inst., by Rev. W.S. Lewis, Mr. William Love & Miss Sarah C.
Windle, all of Multnomah county, Oregon.
On the 24th of Feb, 1859, by Davis Evans, Esq., Mr. Elisha Ward and Miss
Sarah Ann Price, all of Jackson county.

Deaths:
In Polk Co., Jan 5th Helen Mary, youngest dau of W.H. & E.M. Vandervoort,
aged 2mo.
In this city, on the 10th inst., Charles Edgar, son of John C. & Elizabeth
Carson, aged 6 mo. and 18 days.
On the 5th of Feb, on the Lewis River, America Josephine, dau of Owen W. and
Judith A. Bozarth, aged  2yrs 6 mo.**
In Salem, Feb 13th, Susan, infant dau of Wm. T. & Susan R. Wallace, aged 3
wks, 3 days.
At Parkersville, in this county, on the 4th inst. suddenley, Mr. William
Parker aged abt 38 yrs.
On the 8th ints. Thomas Stanley, of Marion county, aged 63 yrs.
Near Champoeg, Feb 27th, Jeanette, dau of A. McKinley aged abt 12 yrs.
On the 19th of Feb, at Williams Creek, Josephine county, Mr. J.W. Inman,
formerly from Union Mo.
In Linn county, Feb 9th, Emily, dau of Wm. M. and Rhoda Smith, aged abt 6
yrs.
In Linn county, Feb 25th, Francis Asbury aged 2yrs and 9 mo.; Feb 27th, Mary
aged 11 mo and 9 days; son and dau of J.N. and M.H. McDonald.

** The Bozarth family were among the 1st settlers of Woodland, WA, on the
Lewis River.
