     Lebanon -
Andrew g Sediv 69, died thursday in his home.
     He was born and raised in redbird, Neb.  His family lived in Monmouth and Buena vista while he was a youth and he attended Monmouth High School.
     He served in the army during World War II.  After his military discharge, he made his home in Scio.  He received an electrician's license.
     He married virginia Longabardo on Dec 4, 1949.  they lived in Pocatello, Idaho until moving to Ontario where he worked for a cement plant.  He then lived in Shelley Idaho and was a mechanic.  In 1955 they returned to Monmouth, where he worked for the city and later operated a small engine repair business.
     He loved the outdoors and helped the handicapped and elderly people in the commuity.  He was a member of the albany elks Lodge and helped start AMVETS.
     Survivors include his wife; son, Michael G of Albany, daughter Marsha Staudinger of Longview Wash.; brothers, Ed of Monmouth, al of salem and Jim of Albany; sisters, Marie Arnold and Betty Weber, both of Salem, Minnie Hollinger of Mill city and Irene Lake of New Meadows, Idaho; and two grandchildren.
     graveside services will begi at 11 a.m. Monday in buena vista cemetery, Independence.  Arrangements are by AAsum mortuary, Albany.
     contributions may be made to Lebanon Hospice or the Lebanon Elks Lodge.
