Izee Cemetery

D.A.R. version

Located on a hillside facing south, overlooking the meadowland and the surrounding hills, quite picturesque. A small plot of about one half acre fenced. This place gets it's name from an early day cattleman, Angell, who branded with an IZ, when the US Postal Department established a post office at this ranch they, the postal dept., added the two ee's. The cemetery located on the E. P. Smith Ranch is managed by the Mid-Grant County Cemetery District.
